Homework:
  • Reader Saunders' story "Sticks" and write down if he uses symbol or allegory.  Include in your writing what the symbols are and what they represent if you think he uses symbols.  If you think he uses allegory, explain how the allegory functions and what the major parts (main characters, setting, etc.) represent.
